Usain Bolt, the 21 year old Jamaican sprinter has won the hearts of most people round the globe. In a recent survey taken by journalists of 96 nations, Bolt has been ranked as No.1 for the best Athlete in the world.

"The Lightning Sprinter", who holds the World record for 100 and 200m dash has got a total of 1673 points in the survey. Michael Phelps, who grabbed a total of 8 Golds in the Beijing Olympics holds only the 2nd place with 1557 points. Bolt holds the Olympic and world records for the 100 metres at 9.69 seconds and 200 metres at 19.30 seconds.
