U.S. President, Barrack Obama gave his first television interview after taking charge as President. He addressed the Muslim world quoting "Americans are not your enemy." He gave this interview to Dubai based Al-Arabiya news channel. And Obama added saying "My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy."

Obama said that America had made mistakes in the past but has respect for the Muslim Community and then he called for a new partnership with the Muslim world "based on mutual respect and mutual interest." The interview was highly based on Obama's intention and interest to repair the existing relation with the Muslim world.
