Seagate has introduced world's first Tera-Byte Hard Disc for Desktop Computers. It has been named as ST31500341AS 7200.11 1.5 TB. It has the following features,
1. Rotational speed is reported to be 7200 rpm,
2. Comprises of four 375 GB Plotters,
3. Transfer Rate is 320 MB,
4. Buffer Memory of 32 MB and
5. Capacity is 1500 GB.
Seagate's Soft sonic technology is used in designing this hard disc. Its market price is just Rs. 8,250+VAT with a warranty of 5 years.
